The TDP raised to 350W, a 30W increase over the original, due to the relatively slight GPU update and the power-hungry memory used in the system upgrade. Built around the GA102-220 GPU, which has 8960 CUDA cores, the RTX 3080 12GB is a powerful graphics card.
Because of this relatively small memory upgrade, the card now has a full 384-bit memory bus and a maximum bandwidth of 912 GB/s, which is significantly more than before. Two gigabytes of additional memory have been added to the NVIDIA RTX 3080 12GB compared to the previous model.
